Hi, I’m Coach Susie!

I was introduced to pickleball just over four years ago by my 80 year-old-neighbor. After playing for a couple of hours, I came home and announced to my husband, I found my new cool thing!  I’ve been an athlete my whole life, so pickleball has given me the competitive edge I was accustomed to plus so much more!  I’m now a 4.0 player and just can’t get enough of this awesome sport!  I’ve been coaching pickleball for over two years and very recently I became a Level 1 pickleball referee! I also coordinate multiple events for my local pickleball club. 

I LOVE introducing pickleball to brand new players in a fun and easy way. I also thoroughly enjoy coaching existing players to level up their game. If you've ever played any sport, I’m confident you’ll find your skills will cross over to pickleball at some level.  Or if you’ve never really been an athlete, but are wondering, What’s this silly game about? Could I play?, then pickleball is worth trying.  I’m optimistic you’ll find it is so much more than a game with a crazy name, but an activity that offers physical, social, emotional and psychological benefits.  I encourage you to try one lesson and see what it does for you.  I’d love to be your instructor and watch your life change because of this game. One last thing, if you have physical limitations that restrict you from playing pickleball, I still HIGHLY encourage you to pursue volunteer opportunities in your community for local tournaments.  I absolutely believe there is a place for EVERYONE to get involved with pickleball at some level! My motto:  "Everything revolves around pickleball!!!"
