Southern Nevada Pickleball

Sandy McAdams

Certified International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) Instructor

Sandy's extensive experience and dedication to pickleball stem from her diverse athletic background. As a high school tennis champion in Region 1, she also excelled as a varsity basketball player. Sandy's outstanding tennis skills earned her a Region 1 title win, securing her letter in Tennis.

In addition to her tennis achievements, Sandy enjoys downhill skiing.

Following high school, Sandy shifted her focus to her personal life, getting married and raising two beautiful children, now grown, and four precious grandkids.  After having her children, Sandy felt a void and yearned to rekindle her athletic passion. She started playing recreational softball and racquetball.  As an avid racquetball player for over 20 years, Sandy eventually recognized the limitations of aggressive play as she grew older.

In December 2022, Sandy discovered her love for pickleball, rapidly progressing from a beginner to a competitive tournament player. Her new goal became sharing her passion with others and teaching the sport.  Sandy trains almost daily, whether drilling with friends, playing matches, or instructing students.  Teaching has become a vital part of Sandy's life, bringing her immense joy. She finds fulfillment in coaching others, knowing she makes a positive impact.

Sandy organizes monthly pickleball boot camps catering to beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. She can be found on social media platforms, including Facebook and Messenger.

Sandy is deeply committed to teaching and playing pickleball, dedicating herself to helping others learn the sport.
