Daniel has been involved in competitive sports since he was 5, which has contributed to his super quick hands at the NVZ. It was his love for coaching that set his soul on fire, as a Little League coach since the 90s. He spent years honing the skills of his players to develop them into athletes.

Daniel’s favorite part about sports is the community and happiness that can be spread just from the love of the game. He felt that unity and joy when he was introduced to Pickleball in 2017, he knew that he belonged. After 3 years of competing, it was time to return to his love for coaching and mentoring others. His passion for the game propelled him into becoming certified shortly after retirement.

Daniel loves to teach new players good foundation before they can develop bad habits. Player development is the fundamental core of his coaching. His patience, guidance, and kindness have created generations of friendships. During the week, you’ll find him spending time helping other instructors run their clinics, assisting in a Kids Clinic at Durango, and coaching at the Trilogy Summerlin community.

Daniel loves coaching kids and beginners of every age. Once you meet him, you’ll have a mentor and friend for life.
